Thanksgiving Tablescape

Tabulated is excited to welcome Jennifer Davis, the Memory Makin Momma, as the November Guest Blogger!

Hi, friends! I am so excited to share my Thanksgiving table with you today. I’ve shared a dozen or so with y’all in the past, but this may be my favorite because I didn’t spend ANY extra money whatsoever and used every bit of what I already had and I love the way it turned out. I get excited every time I walk past it! I was sitting at our kitchen table one morning just admiring the most gorgeous leaves in our backyard and had the idea, why not just get a collection of them to use as a centerpiece. Soooo, my sweet hubby went out back one morning on a leaf hunt and gathered the most perfect ones. Fortunately our back yard was full of them, so this took him all of about 10 minutes. The leaves were so gorgeous, it was hard to mess this arrangement up. All you need to do is go on a leaf hunt yourself and then simply start clipping and filling your vase or jar until it makes you happy, happy! It’s as simple as that! I then just added some down the runner and randomly placed small ceramic pumpkins throughout the leaves. Y’all, so so so easy! For the rest of the table, I will list sources below.

Some of you may have heard me say in the past that I love collecting salt and pepper shakers. I get this from my mom. She is constantly finding the most precious ones here and there, mostly at antique stores. These turkeys are ones she and I found together and I just love them so much and always think of her when I get them out each year.

You may also notice the small, gold turkeys. These are place card holders. I am using this table a couple different times this month and will add names at that time.

We are not hosting Thanksgiving in our home this year, but I am still too excited to use this for some family and a “friendsgiving” this month! The biggest tip I would offer if you are hosting is do as much as you can ahead of time and this includes setting the table! It makes for a pretty table to enjoy and one thing already off the “to do” list. I hope you’re inspired to go on a leaf hunt, friends! And if you do, I’d love to see it! Be sure to share with me! Have a wonderful day!
