Spring is here! So that means time to get outside. That also means the neighbors will probably get a good view of your garage. Did you know that 50% of homeowners named the garage as the most disorganized area of their house? As well as, 55% of people reported that is their main entryway.
No one wants to be embarrassed by their garage. So I am going to share with you some of my favorite garage organization solutions.
Take advantage of the height in your garage.
Most people do not have proper shelving to utilize the space they have in their garage. You can either have shelving installed or do free standing. Here are my favorite options for both:
I just encourage you to get something that is adjustable so that you can continue to stay organized as life changes.
Here is a great workbench we recently installed for a client. This is a great option for someone that finds that they use the garage as a workspace. I love the pegboard for storing items that you use frequently.

Using the right containers is very important to the success of an organized garage. I prefer clear containers so you can see what is in them and I like to have a latch for the lid. Also if you are going to do bins make sure they are plastic and can be easily cleaned.
